Technical Diving Computer
Our OLED displays are ideal for SCUBA diving equipment. The most noticeable feature on this SCUBA camera is the brightness and viewing angles made possible when compared to a standard LCD. Unlike a LCD, an OLED display can be read from any angle and any environment. Even if the light changes, the OLED display brightness can be adjusted while underwater.
Our OLED displays and passive LCDs are great options for blenders. Also, touch can be integrated. For our customer, we chose a STND white on blue display with custom pin headers and mounting hardware.
We used a 0.5" custom OLED with high brightness material for better sunlight readability.
Our customer was using a standard yellow green character display and wanted to revamp and revitalize their product. We provided them with a blue display with green characters as an alternative solution. The result is an updated look at a minimal price increase.
A 40 x 2 standard character display was replaced by a blue display with white LEDs. By increasing the number of LEDs, we were able to provide a brighter display, therefore improving the look of the customer’s product.
With a custom designed backlight, we provided a very uniform and brightly lit backlight. This high volume application was very cost sensitive. By utilizing inexpensive yellow-green LEDs and an efficient light guide, we provided the customer with a display solution that met their needs.
