US Micro Products offers 24+ standard touch screen panels from 3.5" to 15.6", with custom touch solutions available from 2.4" to 55". Touch panels can be integrated with US Micro Products TFT and OLED modules to reduce sourcing complexity and simplify production.


















Touch Screen Technologies
Projected Capacitive Touch
The current technology of choice for new designs. Uses a grid of transparent ITO traces to detect finger position through cover glass. Multi-touch capable, no moving parts, and excellent durability for medical, industrial, and consumer applications.
Surface Capacitive Touch
Single-touch capacitive technology that detects changes in capacitance at the surface of a coated glass panel. Cost-effective solution for applications requiring a sealed, durable touch interface without multi-touch requirements.
4, 5 and 8 Wire Resistive Touch
Pressure-based touch input activated by pressing two conductive layers together. Works with gloves, stylus, or bare fingers. Widely used in industrial equipment, vending machines, and point-of-sale applications where input flexibility matters.
Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW)
Uses ultrasonic waves across the touch surface to detect input. Offers the highest optical clarity of any touch technology with excellent light transmittance — ideal for applications where display readability is the top priority.
Infrared (IR) Touch
Optical touch detection using an array of IR emitters and receivers around the display perimeter. Supports large-format displays and is not affected by surface contaminants — suited for high-durability and outdoor applications.
Chemically Strengthened Glass
Chemically strengthened glass and low reflective coating are available on some touch screen displays to improve performance and durability. Increases impact resistance and product lifetime for demanding environments.
