US Micro Products is seeking an entry-level Technical Sales Associate (TSA) to learn how to sell technical custom solutions, the company, its products and customers, as well as the display market. Own small customer accounts as assigned. Research and identify potential customers. Make initial contact with prospects and provide pre-sales assistance to our customers. Introduce and pass qualified prospects to the sales team. Assist the sales team as needed.

US Micro Products is seeking an entry-level Technical Sales Associate (TSA) to learn how to sell technical custom solutions, the company, its products and customers, as well as the display market. Own small customer accounts as assigned. Research and identify potential customers. Make initial contact with prospects and provide pre-sales assistance to our customers. Introduce and pass qualified prospects to the sales team. Assist the sales team as needed.

The Technical Sales Associate will be responsible for the following:

  • Small Accounts
    • Take ownership of these accounts as assigned
    • Use this opportunity to learn how the business works to prepare for future outside sales roles
       
  • Perform Business Development 
    • Evaluate and respond to incoming leads. 
    • Perform market research/data mining to identify potential customer leads. 
    • Actively contact potential customers
    • Identify customer needs and qualify 
    • Classify and match customers with the appropriate sales team member. 
    • Set up introductory meetings with customers and the applicable sales team member
    • Achieve and exceed lead generation goals
    • Support the sales team efforts as required
       
  • Marketing
    • Provide input to marketing 
      • Business development needs
      • Feedback on marketing activities
      • Presentation and collateral material requirements 
         
    • Provide Trade show support
      • Research potential trade shows
      • Prepare trade show customer contact lists 
      • Work with marketing to disseminate marketing material to customers
         
  • Product Development
    • Provide input on product needs and requirements 
       
  • Reporting  
    • Use Salesforce to track leads, contacts, accounts, and activities
    • Perform sales data analysis and tracking 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Cold call or technical call center experience 
  • International experience and interest
  • Experience in sales, preferably business to business and technical in nature
  • Background in technology
  • Display knowledge
  • Electronic component sales experience and knowledge 
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM tool
  • Excellent pay commensurate with experience
