US Micro Products (USMP) is seeking a highly skilled sales professional to create and grow key customer relationships in the Central United States. This person should have a proven track record as a sales leader and the ability to demonstrate their expertise and success in providing sales growth, and product design wins.
The Regional Technical Sales Manager will have the ability to utilize USMP’s resources including application engineering, program management, customer service, logistical services, and senior management in order to develop and maintain strong and lasting relationships with customers.
The Regional Technical Sales Manager will conduct business development efforts to develop new customers and maintain and grow existing customers. The individual will be tasked with achieving and exceeding the revenue and profitability goals for the region.
o Develop new relationships that lead to additional business
o Perform market research to identify potential new customer targets
o Actively contact potential customers with phone calls and email communication
o Generate a significant backlog of sales and funnel of opportunities
o Create high performance and innovative solutions that enhance customers’ products and exceed expectations
o Work with the internal teams to generate technical and business proposals
o Travel and spend time with customers
o Achieve and exceed revenue, margin, and design win goals
o Manage new programs through development into production
Production and fulfillment
o Work with our customer service team to manage customer orders and supplier responses
o Provide a point of contact for customer production issues that includes schedule or quality and work with our USMP team in the US and Asia to resolve any issues
- Bachelor’s DegreeProven track record
- Solution sales for technical hardware 5+ years
- Custom electronics sales to OEMs
- Direct sales

- Technical aptitude, capacity to comprehend and relay highly technical information
- Project management experience
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time
- Strong industry connections
- Sales experience in a manufacturer’s representative capacity
- Engineering or Technical Degree
- Experience with Salesforce CRM software
- Experience in manufacturing and quality processes and procedures
- Familiarity with territory sales in a multiple state region
- Display knowledge
- Electronics experience in Asia
- Excellent pay commensurate with experience
