A duel channel trackball design provides the added security
that aircraft applications require. This special unit
was specifically designed for use in an aircraft cockpit
to provide a reliable, stable cursor control device.

Our 1-inch industrial trackball was used on a highly
reliable, rugged computer platform designed for use
in an aircraft environment. The console was designed
to meet DO-160D environmental and EMI requirements.
This device is currently used on the Boeing 777.

Our durable 3-button fascia mounted trackball is currently
being used on Air Force One. The small footprint of
the unit made it a perfect choice for this application
where real estate is at a premium. The sealed unit also
helps to prevent unwanted ball movement due to aircraft
vibrations.

Our robust position sensors are used on military helicopter
applications to provide sensor feedback of the rotors.
Helicopters experience extremely high vibrations, requiring
a position sensor that is designed to withstand fluctuating
vibrations.
A fascia mounted three-button trackball was designed
into this application. The seal provides an anti-vibration
benefit keeping the ball from rolling freely. The small
footprint of this unit was chosen since console real
estate was at a premium.

A wide temperature range LCD was designed for this aircraft
application. With a STN segment display utilizing wide
temperature fluid this met our customers requirement
for a cost effective and robust solution.
